Indies Heroes Collection 1: Chain Break

The third game in the Indie Heroes Collection wins points straight away for its gorgeous 8Bit game boy aesthetic. I am a sucker for it! Chain Break was developed by Tuxedo Games and originally released in 2019.

Addiction is a strong word, its also a strong feeling, a pull, an unsated need for more - and this game injects it straight into me. Chain Break goal is simple, run to the end of each the level, collecting items, jumping obstacles and avoiding enemies along the way. That's it, and that's what makes it so addictive in the end.

"Aaaah, I know exactly what it wants!" I'll hear myself saying over and over as I fail for the tenth time thinking this time I'll crack it!

Final Thoughts
If trial and error isn't your thing this game will probably frustrate you rather quickly, but if learning from each run is something you insanely (like me) get great enjoyment from then this game will be right up your alley.
