Death Stranding Episode Ten: Die-Hardman
This episode is more or less the whole journey back East, peppered with massive codec info dumps. (Fans of MGS will be all to familiar with the length of end game Codec conversations) However, the information is huge with what is about to come, it helps to finally fill in some of the large gaps in our knowledge of what's going on.
We are learning some dark things about the past, Bridget and the BB experiments.
Also interesting about the return journey east, Time fall never stops and BT's behaviour is more aggressive, black tar forming at anytime with giant BT's leaping out on mass to come after you.
The episode ends with Sam once more getting dragged into Clifford's warzone.
Death Stranding Episode Eleven: Clifford Unger
I found this probably the scariest of all the warzones that have come before. So many places for the enemies to hide and gather around to trap you. It took me a fair few tries, though I found out after that the area can be cleared if you are really careful and play it the MGS way, sneak up behind each one and use a cord to rip their skulls off - Nice!
The last scene between Sam and Clifford is probably one of my favourite so far, I found it quite emotional. Both Sam and Norman were amazing together here.
Dead Stranding Episode Twelve: Bridges
Seeing everyone together fills my heart, they are an amazing bunch of characters and I could watch a whole series of games or shows with this lot.
I loved Sam's speech to the whole group before he passed Lou to their care, saying that BB had done enough. As usual the music for this whole scene was wonderful.
Finally, Fragile continues to soften my heart. Her feelings for Sam are even more obvious than ever, and I know he feels at least something for her too. They just seem perfect for each other, don't they? Can't Amelie just, you know, fek off!
The End Is In Sight
Well my friends, are you ready to say goodbye to all these wonderful new characters we've gotten to know over the last few weeks? I don't think I ever will be. But alas we are almost out of time. Come and join me tomorrow when we look at episode 13: Sam Strand.
Do I need to warn you again about not getting attached to BB?
Until next time my friends, be seeing you x x
