Indie Heroes Collection 1: kubo 3

The ninth title in the Indie Heroes Collection 1. Kubo 3 is an 8Bit Adventure released in 2020 and developed by Dale and Seiji. This game straight away gave me feelings of the Atari 2600 game, Adventure - Albeit with much more depth and colour. But the simplistic art style took me back to when my young mind and vivid imagination filled in the blanks with early games. This feeling fully immerse me into the game until I finished the title in a single sitting.

What's great about these collections is you can have short games on a cartridge and it doesn't matter, you can enjoy these experiences without feeling short changed and see them for what they really are.

Final Thoughts

I had so much fun with this title, and I'm sure to go back for a wonder around now and then. On my initial playthrough I didn't even know you could find a gun until I came upon it by chance whilst exploring near the end of the game. Another fine addition to this wonderful collection.
